How Do I Give the Gift of Wireless?
Giving wireless service as a gift is easy, especially when you’re gifting a full year. Follow, these three simple steps:

At checkout, choose eSIM as your delivery method. You’ll receive an order confirmation code to the email entered on the checkout page. We recommend sending this information to yourself and then forwarding the code to share.
2. Share the Confirmation CodeWhen giving this gift, share the confirmation code with your friend or loved one, and direct them to redpocket.com/activate. After your recipient enters the confirmation code on the activation page, they’ll be able to:
- Enter their device IMEI number (Red Pocket Calling Plans work with an existing smartphone. Read more about compatibility).
- Transfer a phone number from another carrier or get a new phone number (number transfer must be completed during the activation process. It cannot be completed after).
- Generate their QR code.
After entering the device IMEI number that will be used with the new calling plan and making a decision regarding the phone number (transferring their own number or getting a new one), the QR code containing the calling plan is generated and presented on the webpage.
Once they have the QR code and it is scanned, the plan is downloaded. The entire process takes less than 10 minutes.
